Announcing Elhu Studios and Our First Feature: The House on the Borderland
Elhu Studios constructs experiences that prepare the viewer to encounter something beyond narrative. The work is focused on reorienting perception—moving beyond interpretation and toward encounter. Each project is approached as a threshold, where understanding begins to give way to something less defined.
The studio’s first feature, The House on the Borderland, is currently in development. Based on the 1908 novel by William Hope Hodgson, the film follows a man isolated in a remote house as something begins to emerge from the abyss beneath it, and the boundaries of reality start to shift. It is a story shaped by atmosphere, perspective, and the gradual erosion of what can be understood.
This project establishes the direction of Elhu Studios: films built with clarity of intent and a consistent creative approach. The aim is not to resolve or explain, but to guide the viewer toward encounter.
Further work will be announced.
